APS04-TS

The Ambient-pressure Photoemission Spectroscopy (APS) systems are one of KP Technology Ltd’s most recent additions to our large surface analysis range. Domestic and international patents are held for these instruments. APS measures the absolute work function (Φ) of a material by photoemission in ambient conditions, no vacuum is required. The excitation range of APS is 3.4 eV to 7.0 eV, meaning that APS can measure the absolute work function of metals and the ionisation potential of semiconductors alongside measurement of the surface Fermi level with the Kelvin probe.

This system comes with an SPV and SPS source, therefore the full bands of semiconductors can be measured in one complete desktop system; no other product in the world can do this.

UHVKP030-Man-50-TS

This Ultra High Vacuum Kelvin Probe Corner Cube Training System includes a UHV head unit, tip amplifier (located at the mounting port), digital control unit (DCU) and host PC. The tip can be retracted 50 mm from the sample and approaches normal to the sample. The system comes complete with a user manual, which includes an introduction to work function measurements and a detailed description of the system software, including examples.

The UHVKP corner cube training system comprises of an optical table, camera/camera monitor, DCU, PC, monitor, oscilloscope and system software. The software features user digital control of probe amplitude, probe frequency, mean spacing, tip potential. Automatic measurement of Kelvin Probe signal, work function and work function averaging, automatic control of tip to sample mean spacing. Additional signal channel available. Export of data to Excel compatible spreadsheets.

KP010-TS

The KP010-TS system offers very high-resolution single point DF and surface potential measurements at a frequency of 0.1 – 10 Hz, with measurement duration up to several days. Software includes automatic measurement of Kelvin probe signal, work function, user defined signal and work function averaging, coupled with automatic control of tip-to-sample mean spacing via voice-coil DC offset. It allows rapid probe setup using the integral 25 mm manual translator with our sample approach software. Measurement data can be exported to Excel, Origin, Matlab, etc, or our KPWize Work Function processing software.
